So, first thing is that this is one of the biggest leading product of HINDUSTAN UNILIVER LIMITED (HUL) which provides each and every product for men and women .

WHAT DOES ETHICS MEANS?

  • It simply means that doing the work without breaking the trust of anyone. this simply defines ethics.










Q.Is, this necessary to sell a product that is at best, which is little bit effective ?
ANS. You all know that it is really unethical to sell that product which doesn't give any effect .
why to promote all these products which doesn't give any  of the effect .
This is really unethical . As,for ex (FAIR AND LOVELY) HAS the different variety of products for both the MEN and WOMEN. While  giving the  advertisement it directly shows that it will affect in 15 minutes.
  • By analyzing that fair and lovely is one of the best creams in the world.Today 250, million consumers are using fair and lovely creams for fairness. The brand commitment towards empowering women has inspired the intention of fair.

The main problem in  advertising is that , today some advertising is simply and deliberately untrue.
Fair and lovely creams play with the emotions of the customers that in a single (1) month that it gives the glow in your face.

Q. Is it ethical to exploit cultural norms and values to promote a product and selling the product on the fake basis?
You know this is really unethical. Hurting someone by promoting the fake add which doesn't affect on the skin.

  • There is a FAIR AND LOVELY BB Cream . there is a like  (YOU ARE DARK AND DARK IS NOT LOVELY)

This directly playing with the emotions of the consumer and the customers.
You all know that any of the cream or any of the product which we are applying on our skin that can not glow the colour . This colour of the skin is the part off the nature.

  • FOR EX: There is a women and she is not getting the husband or not getting the job until she is not using this product .

These all advertisements just plays a negative role to the persons as compared to the goods.
For ex: A Fairness cream which is showing that after applying this product they use to advertise that after the 15 minutes of applying on skin you get a good and fair skin .What is all this nonsense .
it cant be happen .
This is ETHICAL in nature as showing or promoting the product which is totally fake on the screens or giving the advertisements through the different source such as : NEWSPAPER , RADIO,and others etc.

They should just  show the thing what is as original at the back of the advertisements..
If they will show the originality than the trust of the consumers will be more and the image of the company will be good and no one will raise any issue regarding to that product .

  • THEY ARE JUST PLAYING WITH THE  EMOTIONS OF THE CUSTOMERS.
  • THIS SHOULD BE STOPPED THEY SHOULD ADVERTISE THAT THING WHICH IS TRUE INSTEAD OF TELLING THE THING WHICH CAN NOT HAPPEN IN REALITY..


  • NEVER PLAY WITH THE HEARTS OF THE CONSUMER AND WITH THE EMOTIONS OF THE CUSTOMERS . IT IS UNETHICAL AND IT EFFECTS TO THE MIND OF THE PERSON WHO THINGS THAT AFTER USING THIS OR THAT PRODUCT I LL GET BETTER SKING WITH THE MORE GLOW. AND IF IT DOESN'T HAPPEN THAN IT BADELY EFFECT THE MIND OF THE CONSUMERS 


  • SO BE TRUTHFULL TOWARDS YOURSELF AS WELL AS TOWARDS THE CUSTOMERS 



STRATEGIES: AS IT WAS NOT IN OUR CULTURE BUT THE FAIR AND LOVELY CAME  AND ATTRACTS THE PEOPLE BY GIVING THE ADVERTISEMENTS AS COMPARED TO THE DIFFERENT COMPETITORS COMPANIES SUCH AS GARNIER,PONDS ,LUX ,LAKME THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO ATTRACT THE CUSTOMERS AS FAIR AND LOVELY WERE GIVING THE UNETHICAL ADVERTISEMENTS AS IF YOU WILL APPLY THIS ON YOUR SKIN THAN YOUR SKIN WILL GLOW AFTER 15 MINUTES THIS IS ALL NONSENSE AND IF PERON IS HAVING THE TANNED SKIN THAN IT WILL BE THAT ONLY IT CANT GLOW AND CHANGE THE COLOUR . ATTRACTING THE PERSONS WITH THE UNETHICAL ADDS AND ADVERTISEMENTS ... BY DOING THIS UNETHICAL THINGS COMPANY HAS GOT THE REVENUE IN INDIA THAT IS : 32,000 CRORE.
